Mandy Carter - Global Head of Campaigns

Mandy heads up the team responsible for the planning and implementation of our global campaigns across the organisation.

She has over 16 years of experience in animal advocacy, overseeing strategy, campaigns and media at international organisations.

Prior to Compassion, Mandy was Campaigns Director at SAFE in New Zealand, and has also worked at PETA and Respect for Animals. She is on the advisory boards of Sinergia Animal, Animal Ask and Animals Aotearoa. Her successes include working with all supermarkets in New Zealand to get them to go cage-free, securing legislative bans on cosmetic and recreational drug testing on animals and overseeing major investigations.

Having lived overseas for many years, Mandy is now based in Europe.

She is an experienced spokesperson and has appeared on national TV and radio stations whilst in New Zealand, including current affairs show Sunday, Checkpoint and The Breakfast Show.
