Alistair Lawrence currently heads the Animal and Veterinary Science Group and the Animal Welfare Team at the Scottish Agriculture College. He also has a joint position with the University of Edinburgh Veterinary School where he helps oversee delivery of welfare teaching to Undergraduate Veterinary and Masters students. He has served on the UK Farm Animal Welfare Council and has been appointed to the council of the Universities Federation for Animal Welfare.
